Why Is My AC Running But Not Cooling?

• The refrigerant charge is low:
  When the refrigerant charge is low, there is not enough coolant in the system to remove the heat from the air, and the air conditioner will not be able to cool the space properly.
  
  
• The condenser coils are dirty or obstructed:
  The condenser coils are responsible for dissipating heat, and if they are dirty or obstructed, they will not be able to do their job properly. As a result, the air conditioner will not be able to cool the space properly.
